In 2020, Wellness Within and NSPIRG partnered to create resources that reflected the needs of the 2SLGBTQ+ birthing community.

As a young person, you have a human right to health. That’s why we worked with Action Canada’s National Youth Advisory Board to develop a Youth Bill of Rights. 

How can health care providers ensure that they are upholding the rights of youth in the context of sexual and reproductive health care? By providing (and advocating for) youth-friendly care, health professionals improve individuals’ experiences within the health care system and positively affect population-level health outcomes now and into the future.

Dr. Laurie is a Clinical Psychologist with a specialty in sexuality. She joined the Standard Radio family (now Bell) over 25 years ago when she co-hosted a show on MIX 96 called “The Loveline”.
